JOSEPH AND YUSRA
SUMMARY
Yusra is a spunky liberal American Muslimah. She came to America when she was three when her parents were tragically killed in an attack back in Palestine. Yusra met Joseph when she was young and due to the ability to communicate telepathically the two quickly became very good friends. Joseph is the only one she confides in and as a result doesn't have many friends besides him.
POWERS
Her psychic powers are the ability to protect the one person she loves the most. When activated she distorts space around her creating an invisible barrier or she uses it to push away the threat. Her powers are non-aggressive and will not harm anyone.

Yusra's pretty liberal but has been wearing the hijab since she was very young because she admired her mother and she wants to follow her example. Yusra is by no way a rolemodel for being a perfect Muslim.
She plays her guitar because secluding herself away from other people she finds comfort in music.
Somestimes Yusra is afraid of loud noises because it reminds her of the bombs long ago.
